This newly created position will report to the Online Sales & Marketing Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: building web pages for the global Nixon website, OS & browser compatibility QA, as well as development of all microsites, banner ads, MySpace skin and html emails. This person will also post all online content to Nixon sites in coordination with current ad campaigns; a very hands-on position that will require working closely with the Marketing and Design departments to gather copy and format creative assets needed to complete each task on time.
The Jr. Web Developer will be expected to build functional comps and work closely with external vendors to build, test and implement new functionality into nixonnow.com.
This person will work with the IT Manager on server-related needs, so an understanding of open source server applications such as Apache & Resin is preferred. 2 to 3 years experience with Flash (Actionscript 3), AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, php and XML is a must, as well as proficiency with the entire Adobe CS3.

Reporting to and working with the Category Manager, the full-time Product Manager for women’s watches will oversee the Design, Development, and when necessary Production of these products. If this sounds like something you’re interested in you will be expected to work closely with marketing, team, sales, and design personnel to oversee the life cycle of the products under your umbrella of responsibility from the early ideation stages through marketing and sales programs. All details of the developed products will be under the Product Manager’s supervision such as product specification, international vendor / production management, QC, testing, and scheduling.

We are seeking candidates with 5+ years experience in a Contact Center environment or closely related field with responsibilities in Customer Service, Warranty and after market Sales/Service.
This upper level management position directs both the Contact Center and the Service Center. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position has a key role in communication with all departments within the organization to coordinate Service and Sales programs, Credit and Accounting issues, Product issues and Distribution issues as they relate to our Customers. Developing strategies, policies and metrics and then measuring the success of these processes is paramount to being successful within this role. The ability to then role out these processes to our various global partners is essential.

PRODUCT MANAGER – VISUAL MERCHANDISING

Reporting to the Director of Product and Design, the full-time Product Manager for Visual Merchandising will oversee the design, development, production, communication, distribution and execution of all applicable products, events, trade shows, and retail environments in order to further Nixon’s high product presentation standards and refined market presence.
Projects will include, but are not limited to development and disbursement of point of purchase materials, development of visual merchandising programs and seasonal in-store campaigns, national and international trade shows, regional rep. support, visual merchandising, product styling and misc. product packaging projects, fixture development, retail environments and special events.
The Product Manager is expected to work closely and collaboratively with the product, marketing, sales, operations and design teams to determine program needs that are aligned with the company’s goals. All details of the developed products and trade shows will be under the Product Manager’s supervision such as design (both internal and external), product specification, vendor / production management, distribution, installation, QC, testing, and scheduling.
A successful candidate will be a self-motivated, organized planner and communicator with 3-6 yrs. of proven visual merchandising and product development experience and a Bachelor’s degree. PRODUCTION PLANNER
DESCRIPTION:
This newly created position will be accountable for ensuring the effective production of Nixon’s softgoods and accessories. Responsibilities include working with Nixon’s Merchandisers and Product Managers to source qualified vendors and direct the production process from purchase order through factory exit. The Production Planner will manage the technical aspects related to production, including scheduling, communication of technical specs, review of PPS, quality assurance and overall vendor performance management. Reporting to the Director of Operations this role will work closely with Product Merchandisers and Developers on preproduction issues and with Logistics on addressing any issues post production.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of production and sourcing related to the apparel industry. Five plus years of successful experience in sourcing, off shore production or product management. Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally. Successful candidate will implement change with a strong process orientation, working proactively to address issues that impact Nixon suppliers’ ability to meet production requirements. Must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-growth, team environment.
Position requires approximately 25% travel. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

PRODUCT DESIGNER – ACCESSORIES
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Director of Product and Design, the full-time Product Designer of Accessories will create unique, globally relevant, market leading designs that are in alignment with Nixon’s goals and core values.
The Product Designer will be responsible for the execution and communication of key deliverables as related to the process of designing bags, key chains, headwear, belts, jewelry, & misc. other products. Deliverables will include but not be limited to market research, trend research, competitive analysis, concept presentation boards, inspiration boards, reference sample products and materials, hand sketches, color palates, 2 & 3-D computer sketches & renderings, technical specifications & measurements, & implementation of trim packages.
The Product Designer is expected to work closely and collaboratively with the product, marketing, & sales departments, as well as the Nixon Team to present and collect ideas, incorporating crucial feedback in to the design process and resulting product.
A successful candidate will be a self-motivated, deadline driven, organized communicator with 3-6 yrs. of proven product design experience and a Bachelor’s degree in design or related field. A strong sense of style, good design, material, and market vocabulary, working knowledge of design and office applications including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Excel & ability to hand sketch are required. Must have the ability to travel, work on tight deadlines & long hours. 3-D rendering ability a plus. Retail, Fashion and/or Action sports industry experience preferred.

INVENTORY CONTROL COORDINATOR
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager, the Inventory Control Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the following objectives:
1. Ensure that all inventories are secure and accounted for.
2. Day-to-day communication with all warehouse staff to ensure that inventory status is correct and current.
3. Develop seasonal plans for inventory slotting within warehouse depending on future demand and also season ending consolidation of inventory.
4. Coordinate annual physical inventory.
5. Responsible for initiating cycle counts and report findings.
6. Responsible for reporting month-end reconciliation of all inventory items.
7. Prepare monthly inventory reports for inter company departments
8. Oversee all stock transfers within all warehouse locations.
9. Troubleshoot possible causes for inventory discrepancies.
10. Other duties as required.
