Taking her first turns at age six, Elena has literally grown up on a snowboard, but her natural abilities showed themselves much earlier. Quite the overachiever, she was walking at the tender age of seven months and was tandem surfing with her dad barely three months later.
Now, at the age of 18, Elena Hight is already a veteran competitor in the snowboarding world. She has achieved dozens of podium places, a top 10 finish at the Winter Olympics, and she is the first woman to do a frontside 900 and back to back 900’s in competition. It is safe to say that Elena is well on her way to being one of the most accomplished female snowboarders in history.
